NOTICE: Oracle Blackout

City of Memphis Employees,

Please be advised that there is a scheduled Oracle maintenance blackout period from April 13 until April 22. During this time, please note this blackout only impacts the following:

Benefits Online Self-Service will not be available for new-hires on April 15. New employees are required to make a benefit election within 30 days of hire, in this case, May 15 or wait until open enrollment to enroll. There will be an exception if the employee has a qualified life event, such as birth, marriage, loss of coverage, etc.

Because of the blackout period, the enrollment period for new-hires hired on April 15th will be extended until May 22. This will not impact the effective date on June 1.

Important Note: Employees will still be able to complete benefit election forms to the Total Rewards Benefits Office to make changes with the understanding that they will not be processed until after April 22.
