You must have at
least 25 years of pension creditable service time
Line of Duty Retirement
You must have incurred a disability while performing the duties of your position
Ordinary Disability Retirement
You must have at least 5 years of pension creditable service time and have a health condition or injury that is not related to work
You must have at least 10 years of pension creditable service. Retirement commence when you reaches the age of 60 (single life annuity).
Age 62, If hired after July 1, 2012
You must have 25 years of service (if not age 60/10 and 65/5 years of service) and have contributed to the social security system only
