The City of Memphis has partnered with Via Benefits to assist eligible retirees and their families secure health insurance coverage by contributing funds to a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) account. The amount of the HRA is determined by the retiree's and dependents' age and Medicare status.
Pre-65
- Pre-65 City of Memphis Retirees
- Pre-65 City of Memphis Retiree Spouses, who do not have access to an employer-sponsored group coverage
- Disabled children over the age of 26 (Documentation is required)
- Dependent Children under the age of 26 who do not have access to an employer-sponsored coverage
Post-65/Medicare Eligible
- Post-65 City of Memphis Retirees
- Post-65 City of Memphis Retiree Spouses, who do not have access to an employer-sponsored group coverage
